Q: I missed the deadline to sign up for ACA compliant healthcare. Do I have any options?
A: If you do not have any pre-existing conditions, you can see if you qualify for a short term plan that will cover illness or injury that may occur. These plans can now be written for 360 days of continuous coverage. You can also get an effective date for the following day!
Q: I have a small business with 5 employees and would like to offer health insurance. Can we put a health insurance plan in?
A: Yes you can with 75% participation.
Q: What would my business be required to contribute towards an employee's premium and what is considered Full time?
A: As a business owner, you are required to contribute 50% of the employee only premium cost. An employee must average working 30+ hours a week in order to qualify.
